Sally Heyde

Sally is an experienced Senior Clinician physiotherapist based at Monash Health. Sally brings a wealth of experience to the team, having held several roles across the community-based rehabilitation sector, including roles as deputy Head of Department and coordinator of pulmonary rehabilitation programs.

Sally has broad ‘generalist’ skills in rehabilitation, operating principally in the area of chronic lung disease but maintaining a diverse caseload inclusive of aquatic therapy and general community-based rehabilitation. Sally has assisted with a number of student physiotherapy projects based in pulmonary rehabilitation including audits, service evaluations and clinical data collection.

Sally maintains excellent communication with her patients affected by chronic lung disease, thereby offering patient-focussed, consumer-informed perspectives to clinical research projects. This is an essential ingredient for the success of several lab projects involving co-designed research principles to date and into the future.
